My name is Julia Pelka I am an award-winning Polish director / cinematographer born in Warsaw.

I graduated with an MA in Cinematography from the Lodz Film School and I graduated from Wajda School&Studio, DOK PRO Documentary Programme.​

 

My films have played at festivals worldwide including Hot Docs, Warsaw Film Festival, Kracow Film Festival and Bogo Shorts.​

I am a producer and director for documentary LONIA & BRONIA on Netflix US.

 

I was awarded with prestigious Ministry of Culture and National Heritage  scholarship the YOUNG POLAND.​

 

I am a member of the Polish Filmmakers’ Association.
